    Father's Day Dinner

    The Galley Dining invites you to enjoy a lovely 3 course dinner in the clubhouse to celebrate Father's Day on the 16th of June. The day starts at 1pm with the live music duo Contrast. The cost of the 3 course meal is £23 for adults and £10 for children. Please make your booking direct with The Galley.

    Dinghy Race - Brinkmans Race

    On the 28th of April we have the Brinkman race. High water is at 15.58 and the tide height is predicted at 5.4. Please check with the race officers on the day for further details on course layout. .

    Fishing Competition 2024

    This years fishing competition is on the 29th of June 2024. High water is at 06.54 and the compettion starts at 7am. Return to the yacht club at 6.30pm and make your way to the clubhouse for prizes, drinks and burgers. Prizes for the biggest Bass, Skate and Smoothound. Only IYC boats allowed but non members can participate. £25 entry fee per person. Entry forms to Paul Wood

    What An Eggtastic Day!

    What a fantastic day for the children organised by Elaine and her team. The day started with a lovely childrens lunch followed by crafts and then everyone went outside to the clubhouse gardens for the races. During the afternoon the children embarked on the Easter egg hunt searching every inch of the club. Then the surprise visitor arrived! The Easter Bunny! But who is the Easter Bunny? Nobody knows...but make sure you come again

    The 2024 Cadet Sailing Program

    The 2024 Cadet sailing and practice day program is now available. Lorraine Carter and her team will be will be holding practice and race days for all our cadet members at every level. All cadets are welcome to come along whatever level of experience they may have.     Dinghy Race Calendar 2024

    The 2024 dinghy racing calendar is now online with lots of exciting races to look forward to. The season starts on the 7th of April with the Hot Gossip race and continues right through until October. The finale will be the Gin and Rum race on the 20th October 2024.     New Buoys

    A new set of buoys has been placed around the Point. They have been laid in the deepest water to allow boats to travel over the area when the tide is in. Please take care and make sure that you have calculated the time to cross allowing for sufficient depth. We have used the tide guage at Southend Pier to calculate the depth of the water.
