The Coastwatch Canvey Island 30th Anniversary

Coastwatch Canvey Island who are based at the Island Yacht Club passed on their 30th anniversary flag on the 6th of August to Coastwatch Southend. Many members of the current watch team were joined by Mayor Lynsey McCarthy-Calvert, Cllr Peter May, Cllr Sheridan Sayes, Ray Howard, Rebecca Harris MP and Dan Blamey from the Coastguard. The club was represented by Vice Commodore Ken Hawkins, Elaine Chuter and Teresa Chuter. Southend Lifeboat collected the flag and took it to it's next destination at Coastwatch Southend.
